At 6:00 am we left our hotel to be sure that we arrived early for our reserved seating section at the Town Hall event for Senator Marco Rubio.
On this overcast morning, the Rubio team had coffee and donuts for the guests. This made our early arrival much more enjoyable
The event was held in a sports complex in Bow. And we were all impressed with the intimate setting, and how close we were in the front row! Wow!
One of our students, an intern for Senator Rubio, had a chance to ask a question. (It was about protecting our environment.) And Senator Rubio acknowledged our group from USFSP. Go Bulls!!
This was exactly the kind of event I wanted my students to experience -- a Town Hall meeting where they can see the candidate's stump speech -- and also to hear him or her answer tough questions from voters.
