RTWH 2016 Planning Trip, September 2015, NH GOP and NHDP headquarters, NH State House

During our 10-day trip in New Hampshire, we will have class meetings in the mornings -- seminars, guest speakers, field trips, candidate events -- and then students will be dropped off at their internship placements by lunchtime.

On this planning trip I stopped by the NH Republican Party and the NH Democratic Party HQs to meet with staff and to make plans for our visit in Jan/Feb.  The parties are also helpful in providing contact information for campaigns I had found difficult to reach. 

My students always enjoy seeing the memorabilia in the party HQ and learning more about the history of the first-in-the-nation primary.

One of our field trips will be to Concord to visit the NH Republican and NH Democratic Party headquarters, to tour the State House, and to visit with political leaders in the state.
